StarHub Environmental Policy
StarHub is committed to preventing and minimising the environmental impact of our operations and value chain (upstream and downstream). We shall comply with all applicable legal and other requirements, and we strive to go above and beyond compliance by continually reviewing our goals and performances in protecting the global environment. We actively promote environmental engagement and partnerships amongst our internal and external stakeholders.
Energy & Climate Change
We align our climate mitigation and adaptation strategy with international standards and national policies. We are dedicated to conserving energy and improving energy efficiency, increasing the use of renewable energy and reducing GHG emissions within our operations, products and services. We strive to build our technology and infrastructure resilience against the impact of climate change while enabling our customers and partners to do the same.
Resources, Water & Waste
We are committed to using both renewable and non-renewable resources, including energy, water and raw materials responsibly within our operations, products and services. We seek to manage the use of resources in an environmentally sound and efficient manner to reduce pollution, waste and adverse impacts on human health. We endeavour to adopt the life cycle approach to reduce waste and in particular, e-waste generation through reduction, reuse, repurpose, recycle and recovery.
Biodiversity & Natural Ecosystem
We recognise our dependence on natural capital for the provision of our products and services. We support the conversation of biodiversity and the protection of terrestrial and marine ecosystems. We are committed to sustainable sourcing of goods and services to minimise environmental degradation.
