Singapore, 15 July 2020 – It is family time on StarHub Entertainment. Delivering over 20,000 hours of fresh programmes to viewers every month, StarHub today is presenting to customers the best line-up of family content from the latest TV series, popular cartoons to top-tiered educational programmes, catered to viewers of all ages.

Family entertainment on StarHub consists of a selection of must-watch titles from content partners, a great addition of award-winning educational kids programmes from BabyFirst TV and a National Day Free Preview.

Together with its content partners, StarHub has prepared a curated selection of not-to-be-missed family programmes for the months of July and August. From action-packed superhero drama series to world-class documentaries and the latest animations, StarHub customers are in for a treat.

Launch of BabyFirst TV

A shout-out to parents! BabyFirst TV is arriving on 20 July 2020, and will be added to the English Entertainment Pass and Kids Basic Group at no additional cost. The 24/7 kids channel is dedicated to millennial moms and their children aged between zero to four years old, to support early learning and aid in infants’ development.  

BabyFirst TV features 90% original programming with series guided by leading health and education experts, plus curated titles from other award-winning baby centric content brands. These programmes aim to provide a fun and safe platform for young viewers to learn and discover the world through engaging stories and songs. Parents can look forward to a content library of over 4,000 episodes with thematic blocks throughout the day, set to spark the creativity and imagination among their young ones.

A Free Preview of BabyFirst TV will be available from 20 July 2020 to 3 August 2020. Subscribers of BabyFirst TV can also revisit their favourite programmes or catch up on earlier missed titles through the on-demand channel.

National Day Free Preview

StarHub is celebrating Singapore’s 55th birthday with a Free Preview from 7-21 August 2020, available to all StarHub Entertainment customers. The National Day Free Preview features over 90 world-class channels which include Astro Warna, BBC Earth, DreamWorks, HBO, Hub VV Drama, Sun TV HD, Zee TV and more.

For this long National Day weekend, StarHub hopes to encourage its customers to gather with their family and friends (in small groups), catch up and bond over entertainment. In these unprecedented times, family and friends can act as huge pillars of strength and support.
