Can I use the $17 Happy Stars and $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up cards on any existing Happy Prepaid service?
Yes. You can use these cards to top up existing active Happy Prepaid SIMs and enjoy the entitlements that come with each.
Can I make an IDD call or send a Global SMS with the $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up cards?
You cannot pay for IDD calls, 15XX calls and Global SMS charges using the $17 Happy Stars top-up card. These fees are deducted from your card's main balance.
The $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up card however, allows IDD calls, 15XX calls and Global SMS charges to be deducted either from its main balance or from the Happy main balance (where applicable).
Can I use the main credits from $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up card to purchase/activate Value-Added Services?
Yes, but only if you have sufficient remaining main credits available.
I made a top-up with the $17 Happy Stars Top-up card, will I be able to purchase/activate Value-Added Services?
Yes, you can still purchase and activate these services if you have sufficient main credits to do so. You can top up your main credit balance using Happy Top-up cards, ATMs or AXS machines, or go online to do so.
Will my main card expiry be extended as well when I top up using a $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up card?
Yes. Your main card expiry will be extended by another 90 days from the date of top-up.
How can I check my existing $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus benefits and expiry dates?
To check the details of your $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus, dial*123# into your handset.
I have credits under Happy $128 and Happy Stars, how will my usage be charged?
The deductions for any local SMS or local calls will be made in the following order (where applicable):
- Hourglass Local SMS
- Happy Stars Local SMS/ Airtime
- Any existing FREE bundled SMS
- Happy $128 Local Balance
- Main card balance.
Is there a cap on the benefits that I can enjoy with Happy Stars Top-Up?
Yes. Benefit caps are as listed below:

How does the cap work? Will I still be able to top up using Happy Stars?
Yes, you will be able to top up, even if the balances reach their maximum caps. If that happens, the expiry date to these balances will be extended by another 30 days from the top-up date for the $17 Happy Stars card, and 50 days for the $25 Happy Stars Plus card (this extension includes the FREE incoming call service).
Will I be eligible for FREE Bundled SMS and credits with Happy Stars Top-Up?
No, as the FREE Bundled SMS and credits are not applicable with these services.
Am I still entitled to “FREE 10 local SMS with 5 local SMS sent daily” promotion?
Yes. The promotion is still valid with both the $17 Happy Stars and the $25 Happy Stars Plus Top-up cards.
What will happen to my $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus balances if I do not top up Happy Stars within 30 days?
The balances for the $17 Happy Stars card will stay valid for 30 days while the validity period for the $25 Happy Stars Plus card balances is 50 days. If the cards are not used within these stipulated times, the balances will expire and all subsequent charges will be deducted from the card’s main balance and/or Happy $128 balances (if applicable) instead.
Can I rollover my unused $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus balances?
Yes. Card balances can be rolled over provided you top-up via Happy Stars within 30 days for the $17 Happy Stars card and 50 days for $25 Happy Stars Plus. However, the balances are subject to the following maximum benefits cap:

Why am I still able to top up using the $17 Happy Stars and $25 Happy Stars Plus cards when I have already reached the maximum cap for some or all of my entitlements?
This is so you can extend your Happy Star card entitlements beyond the balance expiry period. When you reach the maximum cap and top-up using the $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus, your FREE incoming call service and card expiry dates will be extended by 30 days and 50 days for the $17 Happy Stars and $25 Happy Stars Plus cards respectively from the date of top-up. The main card expiry date will also be extended by another 6 months (3 months if you are using the Preferred Tourist Prepaid SIM).
Where can I purchase the Happy Stars Top-up card?
The $17 Happy Stars and $25 Happy Stars Plus cares are available at StarHub Shops, StarHub Exclusive Partners outlets, selected 7-Eleven stores, Cheers convenience stores, SingPost, and at AXS / NETS Self Service Station / SAM / DBS/POSB ATMs / OCBC ATMs. You can also do online top-ups using your credit card.
How do I top up with the Happy Stars Top-up card?
You can perform a self top-up by calling our Prepaid hotline at 9850 0000. Step-by-step instructions are located at the back of your Happy Stars Top-up card.
I am a Happy Stars user, and I have activated the FREE incoming call service by dialing*123*5#. Will I be charged the activation fee of $0.59 and daily subscription fee of $0.59?
No, as you will be able to enjoy our incoming call service for free as a Happy Stars user. No activation or daily subscription fee will be charged during your Happy Stars validity period too.
If there is no credit in my main card balance, will I still be able to utilise the entitlements from Happy Stars Top-up?
Yes, you are still able to utilise these entitlements. However, do note that you will not be able to use your Prepaid SIM card unless a top-up is made once these entitlements are fully utilised.
Can I use main wallet balance to purchase $17 Happy Stars or $25 Happy Stars Plus?
Yes, you can use main wallet credit to activate the $17 Happy Stars and $25 Happy Stars Plus. However, you can’t use the $10 credit from the $25 Happy Stars Plus to activate another $25 Happy Stars Plus plan.
Your $10 credit can be used for local data, local calls, local SMS, and IDD calls.
